About Heal & Restore

Hi, I’m Suzi Albrecht, the creator of “Heal & Restore.” It is my hope and motivation to inspire people to live healthier lives longer. I’m fascinated by health and wellness, and have always been very in tune with my body and how it feels when I treat it well, and when I don’t.

I love health, and I love to travel! Here I am on a recent trip to India.

Life is short, and no one is perfect! All we can do is decide how we want to live, and do our best at making life as great as it can possibly be.

Several years ago I struggled with my health. It seemed like whatever I had always done to stay healthy just wasn’t working any more. After having a round of tests done, I found that I was hypothyroid. This isn’t uncommon, it just meant that I had to make some changes in my life in order to feel my best.

I’ve learned that for one reason or another, we all need to pivot and make changes as we progress through life. This can be medical, emotional, spiritual, or a combination. Life changes, and we change too. Changes can seem daunting, but they can also be opportunities that lead us down new paths and help us become better versions of ourselves. I learned to embrace this.

I began to really pay attention to the things that I was putting into my body and became keenly aware of how different I felt when I ate or avoided certain foods, consumed or eliminated different medicines or supplements, and performed different routines or exercises. I learned what happens to our skin, bones, organs, muscles and cells as our bodies grow older, and things we can do to stay young and strong. I became fascinated with health, and immersed myself in research.

I learned ways to look and feel healthier. I learned that while we all have different bodies, our bodies are still just bodies. We are pieces of science, and our bodies function similarly, with much based on chemistry. There are simple things that we can all do to really make a difference and benefit our health and wellness, and how we feel each and every day in life.

We live in an age now where our life expectancy is much, much longer than our ancestors. Because of breakthroughs in medical science, we can live much longer, and look much better and younger than our ancestors did at our age. You have the choice to age gracefully with or without any extra effort. I choose to age gracefully with tools that will help me look and feel younger, longer.

There are many new tools at everyone’s fingertips every day, and new studies that show what can work best for the various parts of your body. This includes what foods to eat or avoid, what products to use or avoid, and what types of exercise are best for your body based on your goals at all stages of life.

I have also learned that there are tools that have been around for thousands of years that can help you look and feel younger as well, yet they are just not promoted much, or accepted by the mainstream.

I am not a medical doctor, I am simply fascinated by the human body, chemistry, science and medicine. This website is based off of knowledge I have gained from researching these things. I hope to inspire people to want to learn more, by what they read here.

If you have medical questions about anything on this website, or want to try anything you read about on this website, please ask your doctor. It is my hope that from sharing my knowledge, I will inspire and motivate people like you to take action and positive steps towards improving life and living healthier, longer.
